Description

Abstract
AHEAD2020 è l'infrastruttura di ricerca per astrofisica delle alte energie selezionata come advanced community nel programma EU Horizon 2020. L’obiettivo è proseguire i processi di integrazione nel nostro settore e sviluppare oltre lo stato dell’arte le facilities osservative di riferimento. Il Consorzio è coordinato da INAF (coordinatore: L.Piro, Project Scientist: L.Natalucci) e comprende altre 37 istituzioni europee. La partecipazione italiana vede 20 tra le maggiori strutture di ricerca e istituti della comunità di riferimento: 9 strutture INAF, 4 centri INFN, 4 Università, 2 istituti CNR, EGO (il consorzio europeo di ricerche per le onde gravitazionali), oltre a due industrie del settore, la Thales Alenia Space Italia e la SWHARD srl.
