Title: | Minimum Spanning Tree cluster analysis of the LMC region above 10 GeV: detection of the SNRs N 49B and N 63A | Authors: | CAMPANA, RICCARDO Massaro, E. Bernieri, E. |
Issue Date: | 2018 | Journal: | ASTROPHYSICS AND SPACE SCIENCE | Number: | 363 | Issue: | 7 | First Page: | 144 | Abstract: | We present the results of a cluster search in the γ -ray sky images of the Large Magellanic Cloud region by means of the Minimum Spanning Tree algorithm at energies higher than 10 GeV, using 9 years of Fermi-LAT data. Several significant clusters were found, the majority of which associated with previously known γ -ray sources. New significant clusters associated with the supernova remnants N 49B and N 63A are also found, and confirmed with a Maximum Likelihood analysis of the Fermi-LAT data. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12386/27557 | URL: | https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s10509-018-3368-0 | ISSN: | 0004-640X | DOI: | 10.1007/s10509-018-3368-0 | Bibcode ADS: | 2018Ap&SS.363..144C | Fulltext: | open |
