We calculated the radiation patterns of a sub-array of 24 PHAROS Vivaldi array elements and propagated them through the reflector. We present the SRT far-field beam patterns obtained by linearly combining different PAF sub-array configurations with uniform weights. Furthermore, we used the Conjugate Field Matching (CFM) technique to derive optimum beam weights to maximize the SRT on-axis gain. The results show that the PHAROS array could be used at the focus of the SRT to provide high antenna performance, with high-quality illumination and efficiency greater than 60% across 4-8 GHz. | Titolo del convegno: | 2019 IEEE 2nd Ukraine Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering (UKRCON) | Luogo del convegno: | Lviv, Ukraine | Periodo del convegno: | 2-6 July, 2019 | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12386/29026 | URL: | https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/8879888 | ISBN: | 978-1-7281-3882-4 | DOI: | 10.1109/UKRCON.2019.8879888 | Fulltext: | open |
