Abstract
The Euclid SGS IAL Software Design Document provides a description of the architectural design and the software design of the Infrastructure Abstraction Layer (IAL) ESGS component. It explains the key roles of the IAL within and how it integrates into the architecture of the ESGS. Furthermore, it describes the interfaces to the other ESGS components and provides details of the internal interfaces and the design of IAL.
