Title: | DPU ASW error handling strategy | Authors: | MEDINACELI VILLEGAS, Eduardo Bortoletto, Favio BONOLI, Carlotta BALESTRA, Andrea D'ALESSANDRO, Maurizio FARINELLI, Ruben |
Issue Date: | 2019 | Abstract: | The goal of this note is to describe the error handling strategy as being developed for the DPU ASW as a result of the action Delta_FC-24 coming from the DPU ASW delta CDR. The main objectives of the proposed error handling are: · to reduce the number of errors sent back to the ICU (and to ground) maximizing at the same time the information content. Special care will be also used in avoiding error repetition as requested at DPU ASW CDR. · to address the following requests recently received from the ICU ASW team: o attach a severity flag to each transmitted error to allow the ICU ASW to discriminate among errors and warnings (see FDIR telecon with J. Gomez and T. Maciaszek and following interaction with ICU ASW team, mid May 2018) o transmit through the ERROR_TAB a maximum of one error per second (end of July 2018) instead of the four errors per second as previously foreseen | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12386/33493 | Fulltext: | reserved |
