A study on the onset of the thermal convection in Ceres' crust

Abstract
In this work we demonstrated that the thermal convection probably is not likely in the Ceres' crust. In fact, it is possible only for a narrow set of thermophysical parameters. This result implies that: I) dome formation (like Ahuna Mons) is probably due to the diapirism rather than thermal convection; II) deep brine reservoir are possible until now.
