My core expertise lies at the intersection of applied mathematics, data science, and the development of highly reliable, fault-tolerant space systems. Throughout my career, I have focused on understanding the space environment's effects on in-flight equipment and detector performance, as well as analyzing transient astronomical events like Gamma-Ray Bursts (GRB) and solar flares. On the technical side, I design and develop high-quality, reusable software systems tailored for processing science, satellite, and telemetry data. My experience ranges from real-time processing and laboratory automation to automatic signal and feature recognition, simulation software (Montecarlo), and distributed or parallel computing (including MPI and gLite Grid environments). I am well-versed in science and industry standard protocols and data formats, including CCSDS/ECSS TM TC packets, FITS, and PDS. As a full-stack technical professional, my competencies bridge software analysis and design (UML) with robust implementation. I am also a Unix/Linux systems administrator and I have deep programming experience across a wide array of languages—including C/C++, Python, Fortran, Java, IDL, Ada, and Assembler—alongside database development and administration (MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL) and web development (TCP/IP, Apache, JavaScript). Beyond the lab, I am passionate about public outreach, environmental volunteering, and music, both as an educator and a performer.
