However, the radiation pattern of the onboard antenna can be highly distorted by the metal frame of the vehicle, particularly in the VHF and UHF bands, showing highly resonant behaviors. This paper presents a preliminary analysis aimed to highlight such behavior and adopt compatible solutions to minimize or avoid the pattern distortion in the frequency of interest.STAMPAenUAV-Based Antenna Measurements: Improvement of the Test Source Frequency BehaviorConference paper10.1109/CAMA.2018.85305062-s2.0-85058317579https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/8530506FIS/05 - ASTRONOMIA E ASTROFISICAERC sectors::Physical Sciences and Engineering::PE9 Universe sciences: astro-physics/chemistry/biology; solar systems; stellar, galactic and extragalactic astronomy, planetary systems, cosmology, space science, instrumentation::PE9_17 Instrumentation – telescopes, detectors and techniques
