A spherical mirror (400 mm diameter, 2.7 Kg mass) has been manufactured and tested in laboratory and on the optical bench, to verify performance, controllability and optical quality. In the present paper we will describe the prototype and the test results.ELETTRONICOenDevelopment of large aperture telescope technology (LATT): test results on a demonstrator bread-boardConference paper10.1117/12.23042282-s2.0-85045922331000454733500158https://www.spiedigitallibrary.org/conference-proceedings-of-spie/10563/105634F/Development-of-large-aperture-telescope-technology-LATT--test-results/10.1117/12.2304228.full2017SPIE10563E..4FBFIS/05 - ASTRONOMIA E ASTROFISICAERC sectors::Physical Sciences and Engineering::PE9 Universe sciences: astro-physics/chemistry/biology; solar systems; stellar, galactic and extragalactic astronomy, planetary systems, cosmology, space science, instrumentation::PE9_17 Instrumentation – telescopes, detectors and techniques
