A general ARIEL PLM TMM/GMM has been developed in the ESATAN-TMS environment to analyze and define the main couplings between the SVM boundary and the PLM, as well as the interfaces within the sub-systems inside the PLM, in flight representative conditions. From the PLM units requirements and the thermal analysis results it is possible to evaluate predicted temperature and loads at internal/external interfaces. At the beginning of the document the general thermal architecture of the payload is presented. The main external (to the S/C) and internal (inside the cold PLM) thermal interfaces are identified and the relative assumptions/definitions are described. Finally the heat fluxes at the interfaces and the main specifications from the thermal point of view are reported.ELETTRONICOenARIEL Payload Thermal ICDResearch reportFIS/05 - ASTRONOMIA E ASTROFISICAERC sectors::Physical Sciences and Engineering::PE9 Universe sciences: astro-physics/chemistry/biology; solar systems; stellar, galactic and extragalactic astronomy, planetary systems, cosmology, space science, instrumentation::PE9_17 Instrumentation – telescopes, detectors and techniques
