All tests should be done at system level (using NI WE and NI-FPA equivalents) i.e., enhanced NI-AVM. Version DPU-ASWv1.3.9 was validated using the NI-AVM setup. For some of the dedicated test the software development environment (annex section 6) was used. All the dedicated test - checking the new implementations (subsections 4.2.1 and 4.2.2) were carried out using DPU-EQM equipped with two detector chains. While system regression tests (subsection 4.2.3) were done with both DPUs EM and EQM with a total of three detector chains. Only after the completion of the dedicated tests the DPU-ASWv1.3.9 software was deployed in the DPU-EQM and DPU-EM E2PROMs. Then, system regression tests were done nominally.
