This detector is on board the IXPE (Imaging X-ray Polarimetry Explorer) mission selected by NASA in the framework of the Explorer program scheduled for the launch in 2021. We report on tests carried out with a laboratory prototype of the GPD to verify the performance as a function of the temperature in a large temperature range between 15°C and 40°C.ELETTRONICOenDependence on temperature of the response of a gas pixel detector to polarized radiationConference paper10.1117/12.23124612-s2.0-85051855816000452819200126https://www.spiedigitallibrary.org/conference-proceedings-of-spie/10699/2312461/Dependence-on-temperature-of-the-response-of-a-gas-pixel/10.1117/12.2312461.full?SSO=1&tab=ArticleLink2018SPIE10699E..5BFFIS/05 - ASTRONOMIA E ASTROFISICAERC sectors::Physical Sciences and Engineering::PE9 Universe sciences: astro-physics/chemistry/biology; solar systems; stellar, galactic and extragalactic astronomy, planetary systems, cosmology, space science, instrumentation::PE9_10 High energy and particle astronomy – X-rays, cosmic rays, gamma rays, neutrinos
