The purpose of the work plan was to check the suitability of the INAF-IRA Northern Cross radio telescope to participate in the SSA program. In particular UHF-band measurements at the Medicina observing site were required in order to test the Northern Cross array as receiving part of a ground-based radar system for space debris monitoring at different orbital regions.STAMPAenThe Medicina Support Activities for Surveillance Validation and Operations - Progress ReportResearch reportFIS/05 - ASTRONOMIA E ASTROFISICAERC sectors::Physical Sciences and Engineering::PE9 Universe sciences: astro-physics/chemistry/biology; solar systems; stellar, galactic and extragalactic astronomy, planetary systems, cosmology, space science, instrumentation::PE9_17 Instrumentation – telescopes, detectors and techniques
