The tool includes the possibility of providing an accurate modelling of PSF variations in the FoV, a crucial issue for realistic simulations, which makes AETC particularly suitable for simulations of adaptive optics instruments. To exemplify the AETC capabilities we present a number of simulations for specific science cases, useful for studying the capabilities of next generation AO imaging cameras for Extremely Large Telescopes. <P />STAMPAenAETC: a powerful web tool to simulate astronomical imagesConference paper10.1117/12.22336212-s2.0-84992615333000385794000085https://www.spiedigitallibrary.org/conference-proceedings-of-spie/9911/1/AETC-a-powerful-web-tool-to-simulate-astronomical-images/10.1117/12.2233621.short?SSO=12016SPIE.9911E..2UUFIS/05 - ASTRONOMIA E ASTROFISICA
