This instrument aims to detect local geomagnetic disturbances associated with major global storms, providing a local value of the so-called Dst (i.e., Disturbance Storm Time) index. The measurements reported here and acquired during the first months after installation show a very good agreement with other similar instruments acquiring data in the surroundings, and also a good agreement with the official Dst-index provided by the World Data Center (WDC) for Geomagnetism, Kyoto.ELETTRONICOenSWELTO FluxGate Magnetometer: Installation and First MeasurementsTechnical reportFIS/05 - ASTRONOMIA E ASTROFISICA
