The new scientific cabinet became operational between 1776 and 1777 and, here, Paduan astronomy finally got in step with the technologies of that time. The new Observatory was also a perfect place for educating a wider audience about the science of the sky and its history. Indeed, the full-figure images painted on the walls of the upper observatory allow us to capture, in a single glance, the evolution of astronomy from antiquity to the eighteenth century even today. Toaldo is regarded as one of the founding fathers of modern scientific meteorology. He collected and compiled several meteorological series, just preserved at the OAPd historical archive, precious material even today for researchers from all over the world. The recent Historical Archive inventory reordering, now available online, and this first digitalization of the oldest material, have finally made the Toaldo cultural legacy, just 300 years after his birth, accessible.STAMPAitL'eredità scientifica e culturale di Giuseppe Toaldo, a 300 anni dalla nascitaConference paper10.12871/978883339402256FIS/08 - DIDATTICA E STORIA DELLA FISICA
