The mission includes four space-based and three ground-based instruments that, working together, will discover GRBs and provide rapid multi-wavelength follow-up in order to obtain a complete coverage of the GRB emission over seven decades in energy, from the trigger up to the very late phases of the afterglow. Thanks to its characteristics, SVOM will play a crucial role in time-domain and multi-messenger astronomy.ELETTRONICOenThe SVOM missionArticle10.3390/galaxies90401132-s2.0-85120800470https://api.elsevier.com/content/abstract/scopus_id/85120800470https://www.mdpi.com/2075-4434/9/4/113https://ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2021Galax...9..113BFIS/05 - ASTRONOMIA E ASTROFISICAERC sectors::Physical Sciences and Engineering::PE9 Universe sciences: astro-physics/chemistry/biology; solar systems; stellar, galactic and extragalactic astronomy, planetary systems, cosmology, space science, instrumentation
