The term level 1 refers to the state of the data that follows, in terms of processing, the raw telemetry as received by the ground stations, and precedes ingestion in the data processing pipeline. The level 1 production activity is a shared activity that gathers: the first-rank OUs (VIS, NIR, SIR) as direct users of level 1 data for their part of the pipeline; the instrument development teams (IDT) as both providers of the telemetry (TM) description and users of level 1 data for future test periods and health monitoring during operations (as instrument operations team or IOT); the Science Operations Centre where the level 1 data products are built and where the level 1 processing function is used to obtain the first diagnostics regarding the good health of the mission as a whole. The Science Data Centres associated with OU VIS, NIR and SIR will provide the instrument-related elements of the code, while the SOC will integrate them with the elements related to the spacecraft. This aspect is covered in the associated LE1 development plan.ELETTRONICOenEuclid SGS Level 1 Processing Function Requirements Specifications DocumentResearch reportFIS/05 - ASTRONOMIA E ASTROFISICAERC sectors::Physical Sciences and Engineering::PE9 Universe sciences: astro-physics/chemistry/biology; solar systems; stellar, galactic and extragalactic astronomy, planetary systems, cosmology, space science, instrumentation::PE9_17 Instrumentation – telescopes, detectors and techniques
