Both SCS TMU’s were integrated on the S/C but only the unit indicated by SCS-R, officially considered the Redundant one of the two delivered by JPL, was tested. Ground testing of the Nominal unit, FM2, will be carried out in the next PFM2 test campaign. The test campaign spread over about 2 months, from February to March 2006. The SCS was first activated at the end of February for a warm healthcheck in order to check its functionality after shipping and then it was switched on again on March 18th 2006 for the actual cryogenic test: after a thermal vacuum healthcheck, the cooler was started and tested in all cases according to the test plan. This report covers tests, results and issues related to the SCS only.ELETTRONICOenPlanck SCS PFM1 test reportResearch reportFIS/05 - ASTRONOMIA E ASTROFISICAERC sectors::Physical Sciences and Engineering::PE9 Universe sciences: astro-physics/chemistry/biology; solar systems; stellar, galactic and extragalactic astronomy, planetary systems, cosmology, space science, instrumentation::PE9_17 Instrumentation – telescopes, detectors and techniques
