The main goal of this document is to describe the interfaces of the scientific pipeline software starting from the model of a finite state machine. All the “states” that the pipeline can assume are needed to define the messages to be sent to the OCS system. For this, the document concentrates mainly on the On-site Pipeline Analyses (OPA & DOPA) whose interfaces are thoroughly described.
