Publication Restricted Acquisition, integration and updating of astronomical catalogs in the ASDC Browse DBMS and Web Services(2014); ; ;Antonelli, Lucio AngeloAntonelli, Lucio AngeloThe ASI Science Data Center offers to the scientific users various web services, such as the Multi-frequency Data Explorer (MDE), allowing to perform a multi-frequency analysis of astronomical sources. This is achieved by using catalogs and astronomical data in different energy bands, present at ASDC and / or invoking external services (NED, SIMBAD, Vizier, the Sloan Digital Sky Survey, etc..), which allow immediate access to spectral, spatial and temporal information and their comparison. The ASDC tools (as the "Data Explorer") are interfaced with the ASDC scientific RDBMS for astronomical catalogs, ASDC-Browse, for storing and selecting information related to sources of interest in the available catalogs. Browse dbs are then used to create specific ASDC web pages of public astronomical catalogs of interest for ASDC projects and/or scientific community. The pages include Javascript tables allowing to activate the ASDC web services for each specific source. The purpose of this document is a simple technical description of the procedure of dissemination of new astronomical source catalogs among the ASDC web pages and web services. The creation of some ASDC “recipes” is useful and it is requested within the MVO ASDC team (Multi-frequency and Virtual Observatory team), to create a reference on the standards of the ASDC scientific services, when new results are achieved by specific missions and new projects/missions are acquired.146 1 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Restricted The ADC QL Alert System(2016); ; ;Lucio Angelo AntonelliLucio Angelo AntonelliThe AGILE/GRID Quick-Look (QL) Source detections revealed with the AGILE/GRID QL Variability or with other AGILE Data Center pipelines, are loaded in specific DB's within the ASI Science Data Center Browse scientific DBMS. A specific procedure has been developed in particular to update DB's from QL Variability pipelines (QLV) daily automatically, using the DB updating task. The QLV pipeline in Spinning mode have been updated in three main different type of procedures executing a source “blind search”, whose results are loaded in three different Browse DB's two times a day with a crontab scheduling. We describe an automated QL Alert System the was developed (first version on December 2009) based on the QL DB's in Browse, to generate alert ascii ”report” files, called “AGILE Daily Reports”, sent via e-mail to the AGILE Collaboration. The system is executed within the automatic updating procedure for each of the three QL detections DB's, twice times a day. The system has been updated in fall 2013 due to delayed data acquisition at Malindi GS and a a new version of the reports is described.102 3 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

To generate new DB's and/or update the already generated ones, a “managing” procedure has been developed which can be easily executed in “batch” tasks. Publication Restricted The AGILE/GRID Source Detection DB's generating and updating system(2016); ; ;Antonelli, Lucio AngeloAntonelli, Lucio AngeloThe AGILE/GRID Quick-Look (QL) source detections revealed with the “QL Variability” procedure or other AGILE ADC pipelines, are loaded in specific databases (DB's) within the DBMS Browse. To generate new detection db's and/or update and maintain those already generated, a db “managing” procedure has been developed based on bash and C-shell scripts, Fortran code and Browse template command files. All the AGILE/GRID catalogs and surveys results, together with the QL detected source lists, have been loaded in Browse DB's and updated through this system. This system is based on the ascii source table “report” format which is the output of the scientific tasks for source detections extraction and analysis. Automatic source associations can be optionally added. This system is easily executable in batch tasks, and has been used to develop automatic source selection procedure from the QL DB's.91 3 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Publication Restricted AL wings extrapolation for XP crowding evaluation and decontamination from nearby sources(2020) ;Hidalgo, Sebastian L.; ; ;Lattanzi, Mario G.Evans,Dafydd W.We present the analysis done to find the way to reconstruct the wings of contaminating sources in the AL direction as a step in the crowding evaluation and decontamination process. The final aim is to estimate if any contamination in the XP windows is present from nearby sources and computing the spurious flux contributed to the contaminated transit.121 4 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Publication Open Access ALMA Band 2(+3) Cryogenic Design Report(2014)This report describes a preliminary design of the ALMA band 2+3 cryogenic architecture. The overall design is discussed from the identification of main interfaces and requirements. The main parameters estimates found through a preliminary analysis are shown. At this stage no relevant issues or criticalities are identified, however the main aspects affecting the thermal design in the next development phases are discussed100 25 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Publication Open Access ALTA Center: Advanced LBT Turbulence and Atmosphere Center Report 12/2019(2019); ; LBTOALTA Center is a project funded by the Large Binocular Telescope Observatory conceived to support science operations of LBT and LBTI. The main goal is to set-up a completely automatic system to forecast the most important atmospheric and astroclimatic parameters (seeing, isoplanatic angle, wavefront coherence time) relevant for the ground-based astronomical observations, particularly those supported by Adaptive Optics. The project started on 2015 and it has been conceived as a long term project and it is organised on a sequence of contracts of typically five years. The plan has been defined and agreed with the LBTO Director so to be able to supply the required informations on the atmospheric conditions necessary for the LBTO facilities operations, particularly those supported by the Adaptive Optics and the Interferometry. The project has been warmly solicited by the LBTO Director, Christian Veil- let as a piece of a more extended plan aiming to equip LBTO with a set of tools/instrumentations necessary to provide a complete monitoring and character- isation of the atmosphere of Mt.Graham, site of the LBT. The outputs of ALTA Center are supposed to be injected in the LBT Science Operation system designed to optimise the management of the LBT observations [1]. The first contract of ALTA has been conceived to cover a five years activity in the period 2015-2019. At present time ALTA Center is one of the very few centers existent in the astronomical context at a worldwide scale that is able to predict all the key atmo- spherical and astroclimatic parameters relevant for the ground-based astronomy. It is at our knowledge the first and unique center that is able to provide forecasts at short time scales (i.e. a few hours) with such accuracies (see Section 7). It is important to mention that ALTA Center is in continuous evolution. A few functionalities of ALTA could not yet been validated because of a lack of presence of dedicated monitors in situ that are however supposed to be implemented in the next future (for example a MASS - Multi Aperture Scintillation Sensor). This will be included in a forthcoming contract.137 61 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
