Abstract
This document describes the validation and test strategy for the PSF Reconstruction Application of MICADO, a first-light instrument of ELT currently built in Chile by ESO. This document addresses the scientific validation of the algorithms and the Data Reduction Library (DRL) recipes of the PSF Reconstruction Application. It covers also the HDRL and CPL plugins implementation for PSF-R tools. It describes the validation strategy, making use of previously existing AO data, simulated data, laboratory, commissioning, and science verification data to formulate a complete validation strategy of the quality control and science-grade reduction recipes.
