Abstract
In the frame of UV rejection capability for Neutral Particle Instrument (ELENA) a shutter system has been used with two identical nanometric slits membranes acting as UV grating. A dedicated campaign and test plan has been prepared to investigate the effect of the ELENA shutter membranes distance to reject UV Ly-alfa performance
