Abstract
The ELENA collimator proposed for PFM model is covered with special coating called Acktar fractal black. To demonstrate to be useful for in-flight application for BepiCOlombo mission to Mercury it has to pass Acceptance test with specific thermal cycles . This document report test campaign on representative samples requested to perform qualification test of 100 thermal cycles. The test is split in two runs: the first in the IAPS laboratory, the second at the external facility RMP srl in Rome. This document reports the total activity related to the qualification test of Acktar samples with inspections, procedure, thermal test of 100 cycles (30@IAPS + 70@RMPsrl) in the range -50°C / +220°C and final coating adhesion test.
