NI-DPU ASW v1.3.9 Test Plan and Test Report

Abstract
The objective of this document is to provide the test plan carried out on v1.3.9 of the DPU ASW and to report the test results. All tests should be done at system level (using NI WE and NI-FPA equivalents) i.e., enhanced NI-AVM. Version DPU-ASWv1.3.9 was validated using the NI-AVM setup. For some of the dedicated test the software development environment (annex section 6) was used. All the dedicated test - checking the new implementations (subsections 4.2.1 and 4.2.2) were carried out using DPU-EQM equipped with two detector chains. While system regression tests (subsection 4.2.3) were done with both DPUs EM and EQM with a total of three detector chains. Only after the completion of the dedicated tests the DPU-ASWv1.3.9 software was deployed in the DPU-EQM and DPU-EM E2PROMs. Then, system regression tests were done nominally. This document is part of the data-pack related to the software release note [RD-2] together with the description of the software changes [RD-1] (SW configuration control), and the Unit test and Static analysis [RD-6].
