Abstract
Pseudo open loop control is a robust control technique for use in multi-conjugated adaptive optics systems for wide-field atmospheric turbulence compensation. This control technique helps to minimize the deleterious effects of optical defects in the system. We propose to use system identification on open-loop and closed-loop and frequency response analysis to achieve a better tuning and characterization of a POLC system. Our results show that system identification can be used to determine the robustness of the system, and can also be used to obtain a model for system tuning.
