Abstract
The objective of this deliverable is to describe the development costs to implement the Medicina Northern Cross radio telescope (NC) upgrades suggested in the deliverable DOC_1 of the ESA Contract No. 4000107622/12/D/MRP. The goal of this document is to have an estimation of the upgrading cost in the case this project will be financed. Since at this level it is impossible the involvement of the electronics and electromechanical industries, the costs are to be accepted as a ROM (estimated cost with an uncertainty of +-10%) entry-level estimation. Three parallel passages have been reported, which include the upgrade of the receiving antenna, the development of software for the back-end and the installation of a transmitting system.
