Abstract
The configuration of the NISP focal plane to operate at room temperature so-called SCA zero bias
configuration was developed to operate the NISP focal plane with the DCUs powered ON and the
SCEs fully bootstrapped but without activating the SCAs. In this way is assured that all the
engineering operations of the NISP focal plane are allowed with the nominal timing and data
production flux. Details about the procedure can be found in RD-1 (ITAR protected) and results of
the validation tests can be found in RD-2 (ITAR protected).
Here is descrived the procedure to apply the ZBC.
