Title: | The HARPS-N Red Dwarf Exoplanets Survey (HADES) - Time Resolved Spectroscopic Analysis of The Steady Chromosphere Of Low-Activity Early-M Dwarfs | Authors: | SCANDARIATO, GAETANO MALDONADO PRADO, Jesus |
Issue Date: | 2016 | Volume: | 19th Cambridge Workshop on Cool Stars, Stellar Systems, and the Sun (CS19) | First Page: | 45 | Abstract: | We analyze the spectra of the quiet early-M dwarfs that the HADES project monitored for 3.5 years. The wavelength rangecovered by the spectra allows us to analyze simultaneously the CaII H&K doublet and the Hα line, while the intensive follow up gives us a large number of spectra (up to 100) for each targeted star. We show how the CaII H&K and Hα fluxesare correlated at low activity levels and we infer the evolution timescales of chromospheric active regions. | Conference Name: | 19th Cambridge Workshop on Cool Stars, Stellar Systems, and the Sun (CS19) | Conference Place: | Uppsala, Sweden | Conference Date: | 6-10 June, 2016 | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12386/24542 | DOI: | 10.5281/zenodo.55428 | Bibcode ADS: | 2016csss.confE..45S | Fulltext: | open |
