The source could be used by SCAO systems like those of MICADO/MAORY, HARMONI and METIS and to monitor M4 shape and differential pistons. Additional functionalities could be provided in order to use it for LGS based AO systems calibrations like the MCAO system of MAORY/MICADO or the foreseen LTAO system of HARMONI.
