These measurements can be used to improve our understanding of the spiral structure and dynamics of the Milky Way. At the same time, Class II CH3OH masers can also be used to study gas kinematics close to the exciting star, tracing rotation, infall and/or outflow motions. | Titolo del convegno: | Cosmic Masers - from OH to H0 | Luogo del convegno: | Stellenbosch, South Africa | Periodo del convegno: | 29 January- 3 February, 2012 | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12386/32791 | URL: | https://www.cambridge.org/core/journals/proceedings-of-the-international-astronomical-union/article/methanol-maser-parallaxes-and-proper-motions/D9E30BC4ABCD73352ED745FCB4A12A20 https://api.elsevier.com/content/abstract/scopus_id/84864475743 |
