Abstract
This report detailed the work done in the GAPS2 programme up to now. The goal of the project is to take advantage of the unique capabilities of GIARPS to study the origin of planetary systems diversity shaped by variable degrees of orbital evolution, exploring uncharted territory in the realm of planet formation and evolution with emphasis on the innermost regions.
