Data pubblicazione: | 2021 | Abstract: | The spectroscopic calibration of the NISP-S’s grisms aims to ensure a precise and accurate absolute wavelength calibration providing a redshift accuracy z=z < 0:001 in the entire NISP Field of View (FoV). In-flight NISP spectral calibration relies on calibration product derived from instrument’s ground tests and more especially from instrument stand-alone test campaign. Additional measurements were acquired during PayLoad Module (PLM) End-to-End tests (e2e) campaign to verify that the presence of additional optical elements, not present at instrument level test campaign, as the dichroic, do not negate the calibration derived from instrument test campaign. The purpose of this document is therefore to justify, from analyses of the PLM e2e dataset, that PLM’s optics do not add significant distortion that could have altered the NISP spectral dispersion calibration. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12386/34596 | Fulltext: | reserved |
