The architecture was designed according to the ESO standards and specifications. The large number of functions of these two complex subsystems are ensured by the automation software running on a Beckhoff PLC based control system. This paper describes the AO and CU design, their Instrument Control Electronics, main functions of the two subsystems and the activities performed during the first period of the MAIV phase. | Conference Name: | Adaptive Optics Systems VI | Conference Place: | Austin, Texas, United States | Conference Date: | 10-15 June 2018 | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12386/34764 | URL: | https://www.spiedigitallibrary.org/conference-proceedings-of-spie/10703/2313464/Control-electronics-of-the-ERIS-AO-and-CU-subsystems/10.1117/12.2313464.short | ISSN: | 0277-786X | DOI: | 10.1117/12.2313464 | Bibcode ADS: | 2018SPIE10703E..3ID | Fulltext: | open |
