Alessandro Costa is a senior INAF Technologist and Researcher. He is a computer scientist in Authentication & Authorization Infrastructures, Scientific Visualization, High Performance Computing, Control Software.

EU H2020 EOSCPilot, The European Open Science Cloud for Research Pilot Project, https://eoscpilot.eu/, The project aims to support the first phase of the development of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). As part of this project, Alessandro Costa is Local Unit Manager with a 145644 € budget, for the integration into the EOSC infrastructure of a visual analysis environment based on VisIVO (Visualization Interface for the virtual Observatory) and its VLVA module (ViaLactea Visual Analytics).
EU H2020 AARC2, Authentication and Authorization For Research and Collaboration, https://aarc-project.eu/. AARC2's goal is to design an AAI framework to develop AAI interoperability, to allow researchers to access the entire portfolio of services of research and infrastructure with a single login. As part of this project, ALlessandro Costa is the Local Unit Manager with a 26000 € budget for the implementation of a pilot authentication and authorization infrastructure (AAI) for the Cherenkov Telescope Array project based on AARC Blueprint Architecture (BPA).
